Privacy policy
AURA MARIS stores its Clients’ data in order to inform them whenever an opportunity arises to sell, buy or rent a property, to provide administrative support to Clients during the process of buying, selling or renting a property, to inform Clients of promotions or marketing campaigns, or to comply with legal obligations.
Clients’ data is obtained based on information received directly or indirectly from Clients and from the documentation provided by Clients. This information is collected by AURA MARIS, by representatives of AURA MARIS or through the use of the website www.auramaris.pt. The data stored for each Client may be consulted, exported, changed or deleted by the Client through the privacy area indicated by AURA MARIS.
Clients’ data is used to generate automatic property recommendations personalised according to each Client’s profile, to confirm meetings, or to send other automatic messages.
Clients’ data may also be used for the execution of deeds, promissory purchase and sale agreements, and registration acts relating to properties, before notaries, land registry offices and equivalent entities.
Clients’ data is stored for a period of 2 years from the last contact made with the Client, except in cases where specific legal obligations require longer retention periods.
Clients’ data is processed electronically by the entity responsible for managing the website and the digital systems associated with AURA MARIS.
Each Client may give consent for the processing of their data through the means made available by AURA MARIS.
Each Client may also:
- object to the processing of their data;
- restrict such processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn;
- request the rectification, update or deletion of their data;
- exercise the right to receive the data concerning them and to transmit it to other data controllers.
Each Client has the right to be informed of any breach of their personal data and to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of their data with the supervisory authority (CNPD).
AURA MARIS stores data from candidates in recruitment processes with the aim of informing them whenever a career opportunity arises at AURA MARIS. For the purposes of this privacy policy and the processing of personal data, these candidates are treated as Clients.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Pursuant to Article 18 of Law no. 144/2015 of 8 September, please be informed that, in the event of a dispute or dissatisfaction with the service or product provided, the consumer may resort to one of the Alternative Dispute Resolution entities for consumer disputes listed at www.cniacc.pt. Additional information on this matter may be obtained at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

The information made available on the website www.auramaris.pt may be viewed, copied, printed and distributed exclusively for non-commercial use, provided that all copies include the legal copyright notice indicated above. This information may also be used for the purpose of submitting a purchase request. The content of this site may not be modified or reinterpreted in such a way as to be protected under any other copyright, patent, trademark or intellectual property registration that does not belong to AURA MARIS.
